Lady in black

Today I see a lady "in black" sitting with smile always on her lips. How nice it is to start Monday with smile.
Suddenly I realize that expression "lady in back" might have another meaning.
Anyone has an idea about it?

Happy Revival

Welcome back, Little Princess
Welcome mas Dena and mba Ita

This blog was created to cater need of people who want to practice English, especially in writing. It stopped to operate due to little attendance since many members already went abroad for studying or moved to other department.
Today we try to revive this blog for  similar intention. I hope you can benefit from this blog.
For those who think writing in English is difficult, try to write a comment first. Or you may write a short post. When it becomes often, then you may increase it to became a story. Try to write a short comment or a short post a day.

Those who never try, they will never improve their English

End of the Blog, .....Bye Everyone!

Salam Guys
As I promise somewhere in the blog (http://ecdibbi.blogspot.com/2012/01/anybody-home.html), if none writes the article in this blog until the end of January, then with the very deepest sorry feeling I have to close this blog. While English Club still exists and our spirit to talk in English never ends (and of course free lunch invitation is also still very-very-very welcome) I hope this blog closure is nothing to you other than just fingers flick.

Anyone who wants to create a blog to train her/himself in English writing, he/she can just type http://www.blogger.com/ in the address bar and then follow the instruction. It is as easy as creating a document in MS Word or Power Point.

Thank you for those already contributed their writing in this blog. If you want to retrieve the writings, what you need is just to open your gmail account, and find out an email with entry prefix EC_DIBBI. You will find all of them there, as long as you have not deleted them before.

I apologize for having pressed you hard to write in this blog. Although the intention is nothing but to keep you in English mood and habits. Dont worry, if you missed this blog you can still train yourself in English writing with me by sending your one to my gmail address or even office address. My blackberry mobile phone is still connected to both server.

Thank you again and best regard.
Bye EC_DIBBI Blog, and see you, members, in the real world.

Congratulations Pak Ahmad WIjaya

Last week seemed the starting busy days for all of us. And it happened to me too. After a sudden assignment to be speaker for IFSB Seminar in Bandar Sri Begawan, I was required to directly attend the product Working Group meeting in Karawachi, in which representatives from DPbS, DSN and IAI will be there. After spending 3 nights in BSB and 2 more in Krawachi, my head got fainted and the flu said hello to me.  And on Saturday I slept over almost all the day and woke up with a reminder from my mobile phone about Pak Ahmad Wijaya's daughter wedding day just one hour ahead!!

My fainted head soon got over as I approached the Bidakara ballroom in which Pak Ahmad Wijaya had his daughter stood next to her bridegroom. A very familiar song welcome me and quickly I recognize its rhythm and lyrics. It was a song by Bill Wither, but I know it better by its sax blower, Grover Washington, Jr: :
I see the crystal raindrops fall, and the beauty of it all
Is when the sun comes shining through,

To make those rainbows in my mind when I think of you sometime, and I want to spend some time with you

Just the two of us

We can make it if we try

.......

I feel as if the song was directed to me as I came to this function just with my wife, without my kids. We were photographed with our beloved as a wedding gift, the event that I even forget to do it many times. (Hiks)

Surely I flattered myself since almost everyone with his/her own spouse tonight. And what mesmerized me tonight is that Pak Ahmad Wijaya placed many pagar ayu and pager bagus from his beautiful angels and their husbands...whew!! (What a nice couple of course). And it seemed that not only Wijayas' daughter who was celebrated tonight. I am right when the song is not only for me,

Thank you and cnngratulations Pak Ahmad, I want to go on enjoying the song

Just the two of us
Building castles in the sky
Just the two of us
You and I
